How accurate is the conversion?
Conversion quality depends on the PDF. Text-based PDFs convert very well. Scanned PDFs (images of pages) will require OCR — use our Image to Text (OCR) tool first.
Will tables and formatting be preserved?
LibreOffice attempts to preserve tables, columns, and basic formatting. Complex layouts may need minor manual adjustment after conversion.
Can I convert password-protected PDFs?
Remove the password first using our Unlock PDF tool, then convert to Word.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
Yes — PDF to Word conversion requires server processing. Your file is encrypted in transit and deleted within 1 hour.
Is there a file size limit?
Files up to 100MB are supported.
